SELECTION from the GOULBURN EXHIBITION ‘Patti Holden, A Retrospective’ Exhibition was held at the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery from 30 June to 21 July, 2007. Gallery Director and Curator, Jennifer Lamb chose from over 200 paintings and prints produced over a 50 year period to put this exhibition together. It displayed a selection of Patti Holden’s finest paintings and prints, including ‘Distraught Woman, 1996’, ‘Father and Difficult Child, 1996’ and ‘Self Portrait, 2004’ also held in the National Gallery of Australia’s Print Collection. The exhibition was opened by Elizabeth Charles, Senior Head Teacher, Arts & Media, Goulburn & Moss Vale Campuses, TAFE NSW – Illawarra Institute. Summary of Elizabeth Charles' Speech The opening was attended by about 70 fellow artists and friends from both Canberra and Goulburn regions, who viewed an interesting and enlightening insight of Patti’s view of her world. Postcards were available of some of the exhibited images and people could choose their favorites to take home as a memento of the exhibition.
